I took to the skies once more for aerial snow pics. Three coats, two pairs of trousers and fingerless gloves to operate the camera. It was so cold that when I wanted to change from a wide zoom to a 70-200mm zoom I had to ask the pilot to land so I could change lenses. I dare not change the lens up top because my hands were so cold I was scared about dropping the lens!

I took to a Microlight for the arrival of these ships. Photography from a Microlight on a windy day is DIFFICULT!

Saluting the fallen: Blind ex Gloster soldier Ray Peart, casting his shadow over the war memorial during the Remembrance Service in Gloucester on Sunday.
(PIC PAUL NICHOLLS) 14 NOVEMBER
I set this pic up after the service and I had to place the ex soldier who is blind. I also had to control the crowd who were casting there shadows. I think it is simple but powerful.
