Cumberbatch goes global
My picture of Benedict Cumberbatch filming Sherlock at Gloucester Cathedral made the Mail Online and Daily Telegraph. I’m told the Mail Online attracts an audience of around 68 million worldwide.

Look its me Mr Grimsdale: Veteran comedian Norman Wisdom at the unveiling of a portrait of himself by Gloucestershire Cricketer and Artist Jack Russell,at The Jack Russell Art Gallery in Chipping Sodbury on Tuesday.

Norman Wisdom was brilliant and I laughed my way through this job. He didn’t stop playing the fool and it’s a shame he is no longer with us. Hilarious!
Barbara Windsor opening a Specsavers in Gloucester.

Silly pic this but I asked Barbara if she minded and she said go ahead. I placed all the glasses on her head, showed her in the mirror, and then photographed her. She thought it was funny and praised me for my creativity.
Sir David Jason at RAF Fairford Air Tattoo Press Day.

This was proper Del Boy. David Jason was flown in in the plane behind. The three wheeler was then supposed to lead the plane in but it broke down. Panic set in and various people ran out and started pushing the car. Made funny pics. When David Jason got out of the plane he was dying for a pee so he apologised, promised he would be back, disappeared to the toilet, then true to his word came back and posed by the car. I love Only Fools and Horses so this was a great job for me.
Actors Richard Harris and Kenneth Branagh leaving the set of “Harry Potter” which is currently being filmed at Gloucester Cathedral.

During the filming of the first Harry Potter movie I managed to photograph nearly all the cast bar one, Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe. They wanted to keep his identity secret, so every time he stepped out to his car he was surrounded by umbrellas!
Dr Who actor David Tennant with fellow actors and crew during filming of Dr Who in the grounds of Gloucester Cathedral on Monday.

Gloucester Cathedral is a prime movie and television production location which even attracted the time lord and his tardis.
Sir Roger Moore at the Cheltenham Literature Festival. Sir Roger is easily one of the nicest celebrities I have met.

Hollywood Legend Lauren Bacall filming in a little old theatre in Gloucester. It was a closed set but I worked out where they had the stars trailers and took this from a pedestrian bridge over looking the site. Nobody knew I was there!
